Putin: Turkey downing of Russian plane ‘enemy act’
“That is none of our business to evaluate his accomplishments, but he remains the absolute front-runner in the presidential race”. How can we not welcome that?
“Our Turkish colleagues had raised some very sensitive issues and asked us for support”, Putin said, adding those issues apparently contravened worldwide law.
Putin said that Trump’s comments to his domestic audience while on the campaign trail were not Russia’s concern, but added that he likes the Republican hopeful’s statements on Russian Federation. The president of Russian Federation just after his annual year-end marathon press conference before about 1400 journalists told the packed room that he is “ready to work with any president, for whom the American people will vote”, but immediately after the 3-hour event offered what many are calling an endorsement.
Mr Putin said the military operation will continue until a political solution is found. But he said that Syrian themselves needed to decide on who they wanted their leader to be. He declined to express an opinion, saying, “We won’t interfere, like they do with us”. “This is the PD-14 new engine”, Putin said. “But Russia is not such a country”, Putin said.
“The government, of course, is preparing scenarios for any development of the situation”, Putin said at his annual press conference in Moscow.
“I am proud of them”.
They have never received education anywhere but in Russian Federation.
Putin did not confirm nor deny reports saying his daughter Katerina is running a prestigious project at Moscow State University.
“Putin said Russian forces have also been providing air support to some of Syria’s armed opposition groups that are fighting against IS militants”. “Turkey’s downing of a Russian plane was motivated by a desire to defend the oil supply”, he added.
Speaking at the Kremlin before almost 1,400 Russian and foreign reporters on December 17, Putin also used crude language in a diatribe against the Turkish leadership over the downing of a Russian bomber last month.
“You know my position is that I resist in every possible way an increase in the retirement age….”
“I believe-and I may be wrong, in which case I’d probably have to take a different path-but I would get along with a lot of the world leaders that this country is not getting along with”, he said. “I have no answer about when we should do it, but such an economic problem exists”. “So the sooner we do this, the sooner we settle the conflict, the better”. “Certainly, we welcome it”, Putin said. “They always try to tell us what we need to do in this country – whom to elect and whom not to elect, and according to what procedures”.
“We are ready to restore it (relations with Georgia)”.
