Obama to Meet With Families of San Bernardino Victims
White House: Obama to meet with families of San Bernardino, California, shooting victims.
Fourteen people were killed and 22 others were injured.
The mass shooting on December 2 left 14 people dead and 21 wounded in what the FBI is investigating as a possible terrorist attack.
Obama had addressed the nation after the attacks and had said, “We will prevail by being strong and smart, resilient and relentless”, in an address from the Oval Office. The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the Paris attacks.
Obama is visiting San Bernardino en route to Hawaii for his Christmas vacation, reports New York Daily News.
President Barack Obama will visit the families of victims of the San Bernardino, California, terrorist attack Friday, White House spokesman Josh Earnest announced Wednesday.
White House officials cited a long list of wins over majority Republicans on individual budget items ranging from funding for Planned Parenthood to an overall increase in spending beyond previous “sequestration” caps.
“At the same time”, Earnest said, Clinton has “a well-earned reputation as an independent thinker”.
