Gloucester HS let out early due to bomb threat
Two separate incidents forced the evacuation of two New Jersey high schools Thursday morning.
Kiser sent a statement to parents of Dorman students confirming that he received the bomb threat.
Wednesday Fletcher High School was briefly evacuated due to a bomb threat received by phone that was being investigated by the Sheriff’s Office and school police.
The school was given the all-clear after about an hour.
Both papers reported that officials gave an all-clear at Ballou Senior High School, while a school staff member at Anacostia High School confirmed an all-clear there. No injuries have been reported.
The report says the school resource officer was told about an emailed threat to blow up the school by the end of the day.
Robertozzi said the decision was made to cancel classes because there was no way to have lunch for the students.
