Lauren Cohan’s Hair Makeover: See ‘The Walking Dead’ Star’s Pixie Cut
Lauren Cohan, who you may know as Maggie on The Walking Dead shocked us all when she arrived at Madison Square Garden on December 11 for the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball in NY! That would certainly establish Negan as the scariest villain in Walking Dead history. The 33-year-old actress has fans of her show The Strolling Lifeless somewhat frightened, provided in that her character Maggie has all the time had long hair. The website also pointed to an earlier “Walking Dead” comic book where Glenn and Maggie cut their hair to cope with their new life.
AMC’s official blog has announced that “Fear the Walking Dead” season 2 has officially entered production and is now filming on location in Baja, Mexico. Normally, actors in popular shows have to maintain a consistent physical appearance, especially when it comes to their hair (Kit Harington’s contract with HBO includes hair cut clauses, seriously). But fan reaction to Cohan’s new look isn’t unfounded. Is it at all possible that Cohan’s new look is an indication of her character’s impending doom on TV? And if you have read the comics, there are a lot of moments directly out of the book when it comes to the Saviors. There’s some spoilery information that might support that theory, but before we get to it remember that Lincoln’s clean-shaven face was all part of his character’s transformation within the show. It seems odd that “The Walking Dead” would give viewers another fake Glenn death this season only to kill him shortly after for real.
Until AMC announces an official premiere date however these still remain as pure speculation.
Cinemablend, however, claims that Maggie could indeed die instead of Glenn at the hands of the Saviors.
“The Walking Dead” is now on winter hiatus and will return to AMC on February 14.
