Time flies: UK’s Prince George gets ready for nursery school
Prince William and Kate have marked their first Christmas since the arrival of Princess Charlotte by releasing a new family photo.
The school is a few minutes’ drive from their Anmer Hall home in Norfolk.
Kate looks chic and casual in blue jeans and a grey jumper worn over a blue shirt (and that swooshy hair is giving us serious goals), whilst Wills sets his gaze on George.
A new Christmas portrait of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, was released today.
Looking incredible jolly and fit for the festivities, Catherine dress in a pretty red dress, while William was away due to his work as East Anglian Ambulance pilot. The festivities will continue on Christmas day at her Sandringham estate in Norfolk, with a smaller gathering for lunch following the morning church service.
The nursery is located in a private road which the royals hope will deter prying eyes.
With Christmas less than nine days away, both William and Kate are gearing up for a special day that Prince George completely understands.
And, as the photographer Chris Jelf pointed out, he had to “be sharp” because the model shot only lasts seconds when tiny children are around.
The early learning at the Westacre Montessori School was rated good by Ofsted after an inspection in June 2015.
He will start attending the nursery in January.
Perhaps the Duke is exhausted after taking on the lion’s share of royal duties while the Duchess took an eyebrow-raising 4 month long maternity leave?
Montessori schools are known for their liberal approach to education, which can include mixed age classrooms and encouraging children to act independently.
