Confirmed! Sonam Kapoor Will Not Star In ‘Aashiqui 3’

“Denying the report, the “Neerja” actress Sonam Kapoor said that she is not doing ‘Aashiqui 3″. Neerja, who was the flight attendant on Pan Am 73 that was hijacked by Libyan terrorists in Karachi, saved 359 passengers at the cost of her life on September 5, 1986. Sonam Kapoor plays the titular role in this Ram Madhvani-directed film.

Neerja is an upcoming Indian film, based on Neerja Bhanot and the highjacking. The transition in the preview from Neerja’s joyful and cheery life to the passing-facing event continues to be very well shown. “And after I met her family, I owe it to her family, to be as reliable as you possibly can and do my best”, said Sonam. The mind blowing actress denied the reports which suggested that she is a part of the project. “I introduced her to a Kathak teacher. Whatever I do work, talks or relationships I do it with my heart only”. Recognised as “the heroine of the hijack”, Neerja was awarded Ashok Chakra and hence she became the youngest recipient of India’s most prestigious gallantry award for bravery.
