Best Buy is selling iPhones for $1

It will be more or less $150 to $250 cheaper than the iPhone 6s 16 GB version and hopefully, the pricing standpoint can rack in some sales for folks who find the current line of iPhones a bit hard on the wallet.

Both firms have enjoyed apocalyptic growth (and apocalyptic is the only word if you’re one of their rivals) in recent years, Apple rising to become the world’s most valuable company, and Amazon the globe’s biggest online retailer. Apple fans hope to see a longer battery life with the iPhone 7 and rumors suggest that the device may lose its iconic circular home button and be waterproof.

Will it get updates and support new apps? Maybe Apple should be even more uncouth in the quest for upsells.

Some critics actually noted that if iPhone 5S users can afford to buy a new but certainly pricier iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus, it’s okay to join the bandwagon and enjoy the larger iPhones’ slick design and various new features.

Upgrades are and should be a central focus for Apple now. Apple’s new form of device interaction is still very much developing and it will be interesting to see what the firm’s legion of devs will do with the option on the second generation of the processor.
