Kejriwal Says Documents Seized From His Office Unrelated to CBI’s Probe

Meanwhile, unfazed by criticism over its action, the CBI on Wednesday continued with its probe and questioned CM’s Principal Secretary Rajendra Kumar along with two other accused — Managing Director of Intelligent Communication System India Ltd (ICSIL) RS Kaushi and Director of accused private Endeavour Systems Dinesh Gupta — for nine hours.
The Delhi Government had last month ordered a probe into DDCA’s functioning after a group of veteran cricketers including Bishen Singh Bedi had met Kejriwal apprising him of alleged scam in DDCA. CBI kept reading DDCA file in my office.
A CBI Spokesperson, however, said the searches were being conducted only at the office of Kumar, a senior IAS officer.

Earlier, CBI sources claimed that the investigating body has seized foreign currency worth over Rs 3 lakh from Delhi Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Rajender Kumar’s residence.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today denied neither having searched, nor sealing the Chief Minister Office (CMO), a day after the agency conducted searches at 14 places in the capital and Uttar Pradesh.
