Van Gaal forced me out – Hernandez
Although Wilson loan spell at Brighton is due to expire at the end of the season but Brighton has confirmed via Daily Mail that Manchester United can get the striker back in January by activating the clause inserted into his contract.
That run has seen United slip to fourth in the Premier League and go out of the Champions League, leaving manager Louis van Gaal to face growing scrutiny over his methods, tactics and team selections.
There are plenty of rumours that suggest that he will do just that.
The striker spoke about his good form in an interview with Spanish TV Show Fiebre Maldini, explaining his situation at Manchester United and LVG’s attitude towards him.
And The Sun report Young has been left shocked at Van Gaal’s decision to not start him.
He is confident he has enough cover in Luke Shaw’s absence in the full-back position and will instead look to bolster his central playing staff. There aren’t many places on the pitch where you can easily forecast at least an above average group of Premier League players a couple of years down the line.
“I did not want to leave but I wanted more playing time and Van Gaal made it clear that this was going to be an impossible task”.
Van Gaal has come under huge pressure at Old Trafford following back to back defeats against Wolfsburg and Bournemouth.
The contrasting success of the players who van Gaal deemed surplass to requirements at Old Trafford has been a source of increasing frustration to United fans who believe their side are bereft of attacking quality. “He opened the door to Europe for me and I won two league titles there”.
That by no means represents an very bad first half of the campaign, but it is the way United have played that is really upsetting the fans – and plenty of neutrals, too.
Sources say that even some players who had previously enjoyed Van Gaal’s approach, and felt he kept them on their toes in the way Sir Alex Ferguson had, have now completely turned against the former Ajax, Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss.
