When Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Gerua’ was laughed upon infront of him
Varun Dhawan & Kriti Sanon are also playing as lead in this action comedy movie.
Rohit Shetty, for his level and type of direction has given a rather entertaining, paisa vasool kind of movie with cinematographer Dudley stealing the show with his picturesque frames. He knows exactly what the audience wants and he gives it to them. Dilwale is complete comedy and romantic movie. It is also a action oriented movie. While first show of his much-hyped movie was cancelled in Jabalpur and Indore after protests, police also resorted to cane charging on protestors in Indore near Sapna Sangeeta area.
Shahrukh Khan and Kajol’s Dilwale has hit the screens today. However only the audience can tell which of these two will eventually emerge as the victor at the box office. As an ardent SRK-Kajol fan, the entire experience was SO overwhelming. These two families have conflicts among themselves. Kaali falls in love with Meera but they become enemies, and again fall in love only to become enemies again.
Celebrity Shah Rukh Khan has ruled out the likelihood of reuniting with Salman Khan to the silver screen as he believes both the performers possess a busy work schedule. Meera and Raj have some unfinished business and that’s the biggest hitch.
The actors, who are back to being friends after a period of enmity, first worked together in the Rakesh Roshan-directed revenge drama “Karan Arjun” followed by love story “Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam“. Forms the rest of the story.
Like expected, Shahrukh-Kajol’s chemistry is simply breathtaking and one of the most engaging element of the movie. He appeared as Raj and he played this character with an ease and he performed exceptionally well in action scenes. You will never feel that you are watching a Rohit Shetty’s film. She looks gorgeous and acts equally well too. Varun Dhawan is undoubtedly the surprise package of the film. Auto designer Vir (Dhawan) has lost his heart to Ishita (Sanon) shortly after giving her a lift. Boman Irani as King, takes on a comic avatar, but seems a wee bit stereotyped.
“Everybody wanted to recreate ‘DDLJ, ‘” Natashja Rathore, a London Film School student who is directing a documentary on the movie as a master’s degree project, said in a phone interview.
