A Bird Tells Me, CBI Out to Subdue Opposition: Kejriwal
BJP dismissed as “false and foolish” five questions posed to the Finance Minister by AAP leader Ashutosh and accused AAP of using “diversionary tactic” to deflect attention from the corruption charges against Kejriwal’s principal secretary, reports PTI.
On the other hand, the CBI in its statement said that they did not even enter Arvind Kejriwal’s office and that they raided CM’s secretary Rajender Kumar’s office over corruption charges. The Aam Aadmi Party leader alleged that the raid was a cover-up for the investigative agency to look for documents regarding Jaitley’s corrupt dealings.

CBI raids Delhi chief minister’s office, sparks outcry.
The government did not interfere in the functioning of the CBI, he added.
Kejriwal has however alleged that the CBI was Modi-sent and that the aim was to take away the file on Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley’s part in a DDCA scam.
The agency’s action yesterday evoked sharp reaction from Kejriwal who accused it of searching files “unrelated” to the probe against his Principal Secretary Rajendra Kumar and claimed that a file relating to DDCA was scrutinised by it.
In another question, AAP accused Jaitley of putting pressure on public sector ONGC to give Rs 5 crore to Hockey India and sought to know the reason behind it, and also asked him to clarify his relationship with Hockey India chief Narendra Batra.
The Finance Minister said by referring to some facts of 2014 and 2015, Mr. Kejriwal can not drag him in the Delhi cricket body case as he left cricket administration in 2013. The party has called the CBI raids on Rajendra Kumar a facade. “CBI has registered a case against a senior officer and six others during 2007-14 as he along with others abused his position in awarding contracts to private firms”, Singh told reporters Tuesday. “He repeats endlessly that I misled the Parliament on the Delhi raid and that he has a series of allegations to make against me in relation to my tenure as President of the DDCA…”
“If the raid was in Chief Minister’s office it was in his office”.
