Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories Available for iOS
The new release will only be available on iOS to start, but the developer says an Android version is “coming soon”.
Rockstar Games has revealed new additions to “Grand Theft Auto V: Online” with the release of another downloadable content pack dubbed as “Executives and Other Criminals” which includes yachts, VIPs, hot tubs, new armored vehicles, and weapons. The “GTA” open world action-adventure game was initially released in 2005 for Sony’s PSP.
Liberty City Stories will be heading to the iPhone and iPad and will be priced at $6.99.
In a statement, Rockstar said that “Liberty City Stories” for mobile devices will showcase noteworthy developments. This way mobile players will be able to play the game in any of their iOS devices without having to start all over. But, as a mobile version, “Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories” for the iOS features a few tweaks and improvements. However, the spinoff comes with a new story and gameplay elements drawn from newer games in the franchise, which includes the capacity to change clothes and ride motorcycles.
It seems like “Liberty City Stories” is set to be a favourite on mobile devices. While the 3D Touch functionality is only available on Apple’s latest iPhones, other features like 60 fps gameplay aren’t available on 5-series iPhones, iPod Touch 6th gen, iPad 4th gen, iPad Air, or iPad Minis.
“Deranged hit men, morally depraved tycoons, cynical politicians and even his own mother stand in the way as Toni tries to bring the city under Leone family control”, Rockstar Games added.
GTA is first a console game, then a PC game.
There will also be new games and challenges in Freemode collectively called VIP Work. Another exciting add-on to look forward to for players is the all-new Extraction Adversary Mode which shall allow Bodyguards to team up so as to locate and extract an Executive, Latino Post reports.
