New Kingdom Hearts III Trailer Coming On December 18: Square Enix

Kingdom Hearts fans, take note- Kingdom Hearts 2.8, the PS4 exclusive remaster of the 3DS exclusive Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, and Kingdom Hearts 3, the long awaited, decade in the coming third numbered entry in the series, will bot be getting brand new trailers tomorrow, Square Enix have confirmed.

The good thing is, they did not disappoint.

Previously, a secret trailer was reportedly revealed at the D23 Japan event which was held back in November.

However, Game Rant mentioned that the trailer did not offer any new information about the two games. Those who are not familiar with what was shown during the D23 will do well to watch the new trailer, as it gives some detail regarding both games. “After a healthy introduction, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 footage makes up the majority of the 5-minute trailer”, the same report mentioned.

Kotaku added the trailer did not feature “anything groundbreaking” though it mentioned that the footage showed a clip of “Kingdom Hearts III” at the 3:38 timestamp. It allows players to target enemies by aiming with a target reticule on-screen and then jumping from enemy to enemy to attack.

It starts at about 3:35 if you want to skip to it. The announcement was made by Square Enix via the official Twitter channel of Kingdom Hearts. The Kingdom Hearts III part of the trailer features gameplay in the Tangled world and in the “Mysterious Tower” world. It could be plain coincidence or could be possible since the game is still in development.
