Michael Moore to Donald Trump: We are all Muslim
“You may remember (you do, after all, have a ‘perfect memory!’), that we met back in November of 1998 in the green room of a talk show where we were both scheduled to appear one afternoon”.

The Fahrenheit 9/11 director was protesting Trump’s proposed temporary ban on all Muslims entering the country who are not American citizens. You look at Paris and I’m not talking about the disgusting carnage that took place.
“When I’ve gotten to know him over the last three or four days he’s got a wonderful temperament”, Trump said. “Do you agree with him?” He does not have the experience, the temperament, the respect for all people, the knowledge of domestic and foreign policies, the power of truth-telling, the fairness, nor does he even have the vision to “make America great again”.
A poll by the Washington Post and ABC News released Monday asked whether people agreed or disagreed with Donald Trump’s proposal to ban most Muslims from entering the U.S. Republicans supported the ban, 59% to 38%, the poll found. Americans overall opposed it, 60% to 36%. Every one of the four previous Republican debates has been divided into two events: an “undercard” for low-polling candidates, and a main event for the candidates who are doing better in the polls. Ted Cruz of Texas, asking him to explain how he differs from front-runner Donald Trump, with whom he has carried on a public truce/bromance throughout the campaign. That means if you want to ban Muslims, you are first going to have to ban me. “We need a serious leader to deal with this, and I believe I’m that guy”. “And not the people who want you leading their country”. In other words, not you. From the intellectual ascendancy of the Arab, Persian and Turkish worlds, to the contributions that Muslims have made to the rise to self-awareness of Africa, South Asia and South-east Asia, their global role has been underpinned by a keen understanding of religious diversity as a natural fact of social coexistence. Trump’s candidacy really is a dark, sad and grave indication of where this country is headed in race relations and how low our civility has fallen. “We are not talking about religion, we are talking about security”.
Moore said that the U.S.is no longer a country of “angry white guys” and pointed out a statistic, which he did not source, that 81% of the 2016 electorate is either female, a person of color or a young person between 18 and 35.
