Warriors settle score, beat Bucks
Though the Bucks managed to tie the score twice, the Warriors never again trailed, using a 13-4 run over the final 2:16 to pull away.
Six nights after the Bucks ended the Warriors’ season-opening winning streak at 24 games, Milwaukee threatened to hand Golden State a first defeat on their home floor in Oakland, California, since last January. I know Draymond (Green) is mad.
Green’s line: 21 points, nine rebounds and eight assists, plus-15. “Winning is great, but there’s a way to win”. Thompson hit back-to-back 3-pointers and Curry bombed in a long 2-pointer as Golden State forced a Bucks timeout at 83-80 with 3:26 remaining in the quarter.
Those shirts proved prophetic, but may have poked the bear more than the Bucks players would have wanted with a game at Golden State so soon after. With the victory, the Warriors improve to 26-1 on the season.
Before that, the Bucks and Warriors played a thrilling game.
“We were searching”, Green said.
Green didn’t go into detail about the incident, but said, “No man is going to touch my head”, according to Yahoo!
“For us, we’ve kind of shaped it as a big game”.
Bucks guard Michael Carter-Williams sliced through the Warriors defense and finished with 24 points and Giannis Antetokounmpo hurt Golden State in the post while contributing 20 points, six rebounds and four assists.

His explosion sparked Golden State’s tremendous fourth-quarter offense, as the Warriors outscored Milwaukee 36-19 in the game’s final period to avoid their second loss of the season. “I think probably the last seven or eight games we stopped getting better and just tried to win the game”. “We’ve just got to keep working on it, keep trusting our coaches and keep having faith in each other”. Seven Bucks scored in double figures, including Monroe, who had a second consecutive double-double against the Warriors with 10 points and 13 rebounds to go with seven assists.NOTES: Former Warriors starter SF Sonny Parker was in attendance to see his son PF Jabari score 14 points for the Bucks. …
The Bucks got a lift from the return of the 6-foot-11 Monroe, who had missed the first two games on the trip with a left knee injury.
