Portland censures Donald Trump’s stance on Muslim immigration
“We are not a country of angry white guys”, Moore wrote.
“Donald J Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States”, Trump said last week. Muslims have been praying for our plight to be heard, and God gave us Donald Trump.
Keeping in mind Trump’s well-known penchant for declaring his love for victory – he once told supporters at a campaign stop that the American people would be “so sick of winning” under his Presidency – Walters asked him pointedly: “If you lose the Republican nomination, are you a loser?” In the letter, Moore discloses the businessman’s fear of him in a talk show back in 1998, reminding Trump of his supposed fear of Moore.
Commissioner Amanda Fritz said the resolution, approved just nine days after Trump’s comments, had been “inspired by a particular candidate”, drawing chuckles from some in the crowd. We are not a country of angry white guys. In other words, not you. He showed the world a way of thinking that Muslims have seen their entire lives-“We have a problem, it’s called Muslims”-and the outrage in response has been lovely. Not just the ones who have killed, but ALL MUSLIMS”.
“I was raised to believe that we are all each other’s brother and sister, regardless of race, creed or color”, he added.
Michael Moore rose to fame as a person who speaks truth to power.
Martin O’Malley (D) said Wednesday that Americans will ultimately reject Donald Trump’s hostility toward Muslims, though many “seem to be falling for” his pitch.
Moore posted a picture of himself holding the sign on Facebook, along with the text of a lengthy letter he wrote to Trump.
Moore closed his letter, asking Trump to “deal with it”, and encouraged people to use the hashtag, “We Are All Muslim” and sign a statement proclaiming the same.
Allen Mortham Jr. on social media Thursday posted he finally after many years had found something with which to agree with Moore: “That is that Trump is a delusional idiot!”
This is something Hussain agrees with, but says not all Muslims are terrorists. We can’t be scared of people who are different from us. We’re not talking about religion.
