Though Lamar Odom‘s overall prognosis is still good, it appears the former National Basketball Association star has suffered something of a setback in his ongoing recovery from a seizure and drug overdose.

Fortunately, Khloe Kardashian, Odom’s estranged wife, stood by his side throughout his ordeal and is still attending to him even after he woke up from his coma, despite the two deciding to divorce earlier this year.

As Kardashian promoted her new book, Strong Looks Better Naked, last month, she spoke with The Insider, via Entertainment Tonight, revealing Lamar Odom was “having trouble processing” the events that followed his overdose. “Either way his kids are flying out to be with him, whether it’s at Cedars or the new center in Calabasas that he will be relocated to”. An E! report states that Odom will in fact spend Christmas in his hospital room, with family and friends.

The source said that Odom requires a walker to help him walk through the hallways of Cedars-Sinai.

A source told ET that Odom is “not doing great”, that he can barely walk on his own, and often forgets names, including his own.

Lamar Odom will be spending Christmas in hospital alongside his children, according to reports.

However, Khloe has insisted that Lamar still has a long way to go but is confident he’ll get there with time and the right care.

Lamar Odom may be struggling still, but he’s lucky enough to come out of his previous ordeal alive and well enough after a severe battle to stay alive when he was found unconscious in a brothel in Nevada.
