Longmont weather: Sunny skies expected over the weekend

Friday night’s wind and rain offered a glimpse of coming weather attractions, according to the National Weather Service. The milder weather will be making a return and tomorrow we will experience highs near 60 degrees.
Colder temperatures, along with a chance for some snow, are expected in the Wyoming Valley this weekend. High temperatures on Christmas Day will be in the low to mid-70s.
Good Friday! Now this is more like it. Temps are in the upper 20s and low 30s this morning.
Another warming trend begins Sunday as highs reach the mid-40s with mostly sunny skies. West wind 9 to 16 miles per hour.
Skies over the north valley will be cloudy on Thursday, but there’s only a small chance for showers. High tide will be at 2.22am and 2.39pm, while low tide will be at 8.35am and 8.57pm. A Wind Advisory is also in effect until 10 am this morning for central Siskiyou county ride along interstate 54 gusts up to 50 miles per hour. not only will the system bring rain but also snow across the higher elevations dropping to around 4500 feet today lowering to 3500 feet by Saturday morning.
It will be mostly sunny with 25 to 35 km/h easterly winds easing throughout the day.
Tuesday: A chance of showers. The chance for rain will continue Thursday night and linger into Christmas Day. The Bay Area will stay in an “unsettled” weather pattern through Christmas, with chances of rain forecast every day. Partly sunny with a high near 46.
MONDAY: Mostly cloudy skies and scattered rain showers will be around for next Monday, with a high temperature of 55 degrees.
