Taylor Swift Brings Transgender Model Pejić Onstage
Taylor Swift is expanding her squad to include transgender model Andreja Pejic.
Each of the North American stops on Swift’s 1989 Tour have made headlines so far, due to the rotating cast of friends she’s been brining for onstage cameos.
The transgender model appeared with Victoria’s Secret model Lily Donaldson during Swift’s hit song Style at Chicago’s Soldier Field. “Tonight [Pejić and Donaldson] shut down the runway”, Swift wrote on Twitter. The singer also hhad another special guest, Sam Hunt, People reported.
Andreja Pejic recently became the first transgender model to land a beauty campaign with Makeup For Ever, which is a huge milestone. She paired her dress with black Stuart Weitzman Lowland over-the-knee boots.
Hunt, who Swift described as Such a star, performed his most recent single “Take Your Time” alongside the “Blank Space” singer. The dress featured a deep V plunging neckline with low cut back. On Saturday, for the first of Swift’s two-night run in Chicago, Swift had “Empire” actress Serayah help her perform “Style”, and she also invited Andy Grammer to sing his song “Honey, I’m Good”.
Swift, who is dating musician Calvin Harris, shared a photo of the performance. Last week, she almost caused her fans to self-combust when she brought out Bad Blood stars (and other BFFs) Hailee Steinfeld, Lily Aldridge, Gigi Hadid, and Lena Dunham up on stage in New Jersey.
