No proof Putin killed journalists
Responding to critics after the Russian President Vladimir Putin praised him, Trump said he is absolutely fine with the praise coming from Moscow.
Trump’s statements come just days after a separate talkshow host asked how he felt about Putin, who “kills journalists and political opponents and invades countries”.
The paper, issued just days after Trump and Putin exchanged courteous remarks about each other, indicates Putin “readily accepted Trump’s offer” to be vice president, saying the businessman is “a really brilliant and talented person, without a doubt … he’s the absolute leader in the presidential race”.

Speaking at the 9th Europe-Russia Forum in the EU Parliament in late November, Russia’s envoy to the European Union Vladimir Chizhov said that the West’s anti-Russia campaign recently reached unprecedented proportions.
Rubio said Trump shouldn’t be honored by Putin’s praise.

Trump later said of Putin, “He’s running his country and at least he’s a leader, unlike what we have in this country”.
“I think it was despicable if that took place, but I haven’t seen any evidence that he killed anybody in terms of reporters”, Trump said. But, in all fairness to Putin, you’re saying he killed people. “I haven’t seen that”, he added. I don’t know in that he has. “Have you been able to prove that?”
