National Guard Armory evacuated in Florida after bomb report
The National Guard Armory on Northwest Capitol Circle was briefly evacuated Wednesday after a bomb threat.
Northway said that police already routinely do extra patrols around the armory when it is closed.
The Tallahassee Democrat reports that the man who made the threat was apprehended near the armory, while the building was evacuated and searched for explosives.

The Tallahassee Police Department, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and the Big Bend Bomb Squad are at the scene.
Leon County Schools spokesman Chris Petley said it’s standard protocol to enact a heightened sense of security when law enforcement is in the area.
In an executive order, Florida Governor Rick Scott moved six military recruiting offices on Saturday into nearby armories and said that every member must be armed.
