Chris Christie: Russia ‘stealing our lunch money’

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) said Wednesday that Gov. Chris Christie (R-N.J.) “stretches credulity” every time he defends his role in the “Bridgegate” scandal.

Former Governor George Pataki and former Senator Rick Santorum said they would also impose a no-fly zone and shoot down Russian planes that violated it.

“The fact is Russia’s been stealing our lunch money the entire time from the Obama administration – from Hillary Clinton’s reset button to going into Crimea and Ukraine and the activities they’re doing in Syria to prop up their puppet, Assad”, Christie continued. In fact, I would talk to Vladimir Putin a lot. If there was a no-fly zone, you say that potentially could lead to World War III. Why?

When pressed about what he would do to take down Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, the presidential candidate said that a solution would have to “be the product of talks between our North Atlantic Treaty Organisation allies with us and our Arab in the coalition”.

“Paul is that they do not understand we’re already in World Conflict III”, Christie stated.

I mean, I think when we think about the judgment of someone who might want World War III, we might think about someone who might shut down a bridge because they don’t like their friends; they don’t want to – you know, they want to (inaudible) a Democrat.

“If [Russians] go into our no-fly zone after we have warned them to remain out, then they might be shot down”, the Republican contender, bumped up from the undercard Fox Enterprise debate into CNN’s fundamental stage on Tuesday, advised CBS Information. This is something-this type of judgment is having that kind of judgment who you would appoint and conduct affairs that is important. “I said this in a town hall in New Hampshire last week. I don’t know what is driving other than this historical tradition, but the objective condition is very troubling since we are in fact putting people on the battlefield facing each other”. He respects strength. He lied to our president’s face; didn’t bother to tell him about warplanes and troops going into Syria. “The reckless people are the folks in the White House right now”. But how is it working so far? “We need to try something else and that is not reckless”.
