‘The Good Dinosaur’ Trailer: Pixar Takes on Dinosaurs
Despite behind-the-scenes problems, it looks like Disney and Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur will still turn out to be a visual marvel. Though it did give us a look at the gorgeous North American-inspired landscape the animators created just for the film. And the song in the trailer is “Crystals” by Of Monsters And Men. Is Inside Out the start of a new golden age for Pixar? Maybe Pixar’s latest, The Good Dinosaur can help answer that question.
What if the asteroid had just sailed on past, and humans were allowed to evolve alongside the dinosaurs?
Despite all the production troubles that have hampered the film, The Good Dinosaur looks like another solid hit for Pixar. There is an incredible amount of detail that went into creating the environment for the film.
The Good Dinosaur kicks off with the Far Side-y premise that the asteroid that killed off the dinosaurs missed Earth altogether.
Directing this is Peter Sohn, who made his directorial debut with one of Pixar’s finest shorts ever, “Partly Cloudy“.
The film opens in theaters November 25, 2015.
As a result, humans and dinosaurs co-exist, and the film follows an Apatosaurus named Arlo, who forms an unlikely bond with a human friend. In the film Arlo will learn about confronting his fears and learning about the special power in all of us that helps us overcome life’s obstacles.
