Bajirao Mastani to be screened in over 850 screens overseas
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s first tryst with history is in the form of the historical romance of Peshwa Bajirao and Mastani, in his latest movie Bajirao Mastani. “And now that the trailer is out, they see it and understand why I did it”, added Ranveer Singh. Bajirao Mastani movie is inspired from a real life story of Bajirao and Mastani. The songs are soothing and nicely composed, thanks to skilled music directors like Sanchit Balhara lest don’t forget Sanjay Leela Bhansali and his mighty and lofty sets of the film. “It is definitely my biggest film and I have worked very hard on it. I do have high hopes from the movie”.
“Bajirao Mastani” is releasing tomorrow, i.e December 18th 2015 and will clash with Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starer “Dilwale“. Talking about the same Trade analyst, Akshaye Rathi told a leading website, “I can see a Gadar-Lagaan kind of a scenario here as both the film have a phenomenal buzz around them”.
While Deepika doesn’t have whatever other venture lined up instantly after Bajirao Mastani, Ranveer will next be found in movie producer Aditya Chopra’s Befikre. Priyanka Chopra also expressed her anger and disgust at those who are seeking to ban films for baseless propoganda. I felt that during Ram Leela because I took time to understand him as a person but we found our comfort while working on ‘Bajairo…’ Now, I understand and have adapted to his way of working. Also, Bajirao Mastani is about a Maratha warrior, so Maharashtra is a region where Bajirao Mastani should dominate Dilwale.
Both the films have huge budgets and the reputations of some of Bollywood’s biggest stars riding behind them. Bajirao Mastani will remind you Bhansali’s attractive creation of year 2002 Devdas.
