Meanwhile, AAP leader Sanjay Singh said on Monday that he would file a First Information Report against Jaitley.

Deputy Chairman P J Kurien expunged all allegations against the Finance Minister, saying no allegations can be levelled against any member of the House without a prior notice to the Chairman as well as the person concerned.

Jaitley accused AAP leaders of issuing false and defamatory cases against him and his family members.

The Delhi government has ordered an inquiry into Jaitley’s alleged corruption and financial irregularities in the cricket body.

Azad also released a CD by a Hindi newspaper Sun Star and a website, WikiLeaks4India, to show how issue of irregularities were raised by him with Jaitley during the annual general meeting of DDCA in December 2012. Instead, the case was straightaway filed in the court. Also, sources said DDCA was registered as a company under the Companies Act its matters come under the Registrar of Companies.

Accusing the opposition of dragging the Finance Minister’s name for “short term politics”, Naidu said Jaitley had “no role” in the alleged irregularities.

The Rajya Sabha’s proceedings were disrupted once again on Monday as Congress members demanded Finance Minister Arun Jaitley’s resignation over alleged corruption in the DDCA.

On the contrary, the mere renovation of Jawaharlal Nehru stadium for Commonwealth Games 2010 had cost the government Rs 900 crores and renovation of Dhyanchand stadium was to the tune of Rs 600 crores, he said.

“Let him (Azad) make any specific charge, I will answer it right now”.

He stopped short of taking Jaitley’s name.
