Attention shoppers: Microsoft chops Xbox game prices for the holidays
Those words probably shouldn’t be taken too lightly, as there have been plenty of fantastic sales on the Xbox Store.
Well, they’ve certainly gained our attention.
Microsoft has teased the following game titles as part of the sale’s games lineup: “Call of Duty: Black Ops III“, “Assassin’s Creed Syndicate“, “Fallout 4”, “Halo 5: Guardians”, “Gears of War: Ultimate Edition”, “Rise of the Tomb Raider”, “Forza Motorsport 6”, and “Rare Replay”. The page shows the various activities that players got into this 2015, including number of achievements unlocked, number of hours spent in gameplay, most played games and a lot more.
According to a tweet by Microsoft’s Xbox boss Phil Spencer, it seems that there isn’t enough demand for the Xbox app on the Mac, which is why they have not developed one yet.
The sale includes deals for both Xbox One and Xbox 360, with up to 40 to 60 percent off, and some deals even more than 60 percent off. Xbox Live Gold members will save up to an additional 10 percent on top of the game discounts, so now is a great time to go Gold and reap the benefits. It looks like you can expect plenty of options whether you’re gaming on the Xbox One or Xbox 360, too. Now we’ve got some more information on that latter series of deals, as Microsoft will apparently be hosting the “biggest Xbox sale ever” from December 22 through January 7.
We know that you’re supposed to shop for others during the holidays, but that doesn’t mean you can’t snag a few stocking-stuffers for yourself along the way. Customers are in for a treat as the big digital game sale offers more than 200 daily and weekly deals on not just games but also movies, TV shows, and apps. What else were you planning on spending that check from the grandparents on, anyway?
To access the year in review, Xbox Live users need to go to the official page and log in with their Microsoft account. There’s no telling what you might find.
