Free Xbox One and Xbox 360 Games With Gold for January 2016

Microsoft has confirmed the January 2016 Games with Gold for the Xbox One and Xbox 360. What are you looking forward to?

Now for the Xbox 360 titles.

“While the game traditionally comes with just one playable character unlocked, Games with Gold gets you the Ultra Edition, granting instant access to all eight Season One characters, 16 additional character accessory packs, eight additional costumes, and a playable version of Killer Instinct Classic from ’94”.

Games with Gold gets better every month, especially now you get four games for your latest console thanks to the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature. This is one of the more unique “racing” games out there, right up there with titles like “Rocket League” (something that’s headed to Xbox One soon!).

Spencer is unwilling to get too specific, but at least PC players know that both Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and Killer Instinct will be out next year. Since players can enjoy the Xbox One version of the game before the official launch, the PC version might follow suit and release a beta version first. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for too much better. Not many details have been revealed about the PC version of the game, so those who like playing games on their computers are in for a long wait.
