Donald Trump Calls Hillary Clinton ‘Liar’ For ISIS Recruiting Claim
Democrats and Republicans have yet to choose their official candidates for next year’s presidential election, but that has not stopped front-runners Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump from attacking each other.
“I demand an apology from Hillary Clinton for the disgusting story she made up about me for purposes of the debate”, he tweeted. “It was a sound bite”, Trump told ABC News. “It’s nonsense. It’s just another Hillary lie”, he said on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday, according to an advance transcript.
Nonetheless, Politifact – which frequently investigates claims made by politicians of all stripes and sizes, failed to find any comprehensive evidence to support Clinton’s assertion and ultimately ruled that it was false.
“Hillary Clinton suggesting that Donald Trump is being used in an ISIS recruiting video, man, talk about chutzpah”, the former Florida governor said on Bill Bennet’s radio program.
“We hope the Clinton campaign will join us in calling for a thorough, independent investigation starting from Day One in the campaign to review all possible data security failures that may have occurred at the DNC”, Sanders spokesman Michael Briggs said in a statement.
“She couldn’t get back on the stage last night I’ll tell you why”. Trump asked the crowd four times where Clinton had gone. He absolutely was. In fact, if you take a look at the extraordinary graphic, of how many times the various continues can candidates were mentioned, this graphic is incorrect. But the problem is that it comes in the context of a campaign where Trump has said he’s seen video of people cheering after the twin towers went down on 9/11.
“She’s been a mess no matter where she’s been”, he said. But, you know (laughter) we have learned in this process that you can never count anybody out, and we’ll see how that goes. But what she said about Donald Trump has The Donald issuing a demand. It’s at least equally logical to state that Paris and San Bernardino will inspire more terrorist attacks and recruit more jihadists than anything Donald Trump has said.
On Syria, O’Malley and Sanders were also aligned against Mrs Clinton, arguing that her focus on toppling Bashar al-Assad was counterproductive to the fight against Islamic State.
“I’m running for president because I’m going to create an economy that works for working families, not just a handful of billionaires”, Sanders said.
Meanwhile, Trump reiterated that thousands of Muslims celebrated in USA and world over after al-Qaeda’s attack on the World Trade Towers.
