Fox announces date, team for Iowa debate

Kelly, of course, has had several public clashes with Republican presidential Donald Trump following the first debate.

Fox News Channel announced Monday that it will host the final Republican presidential debate next month prior to the Iowa caucus. It will take place at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines.

The criteria for being included in the debate will be announced at a later time, Fox said. A top five cable network, FNC has been the most-watched news channel in the country for more than 13 years and according to a Suffolk University/USA Today poll, is the most trusted television news source in the country. Fox News, however, had always maintained that Baier, Kelly and Wallace would return later to host another debate.

The inclusion of Kelly is sure to anger Trump fans. Kelly asked several questioned deemed “eligibility” questions regarding his views of women and past statements Trump made regarding particular women. Trump suggested, “You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes – blood coming out of her, wherever”, Trump argued. He tweeted Kelly just before he stepped onto the debate stage earlier this week.
