Final Fantasy VII Remake to Have Mini Games, Full Voice Acting
As for some of the other content still to receive the overhaul treatment, Kitase went on to discuss the dating events and mini-games found in Final Fantasy VII.
Stay tuned to GamingBolt, and we’ll update you on whatever it is that the stream is about.
Then again, production on the remake continues apace, and Nomura revealed that the final build of the game will be fully voiced.
The upcoming PlayStation 4 remake of the hit rolepaying game (RPG) classic “Final Fantasy VII” is being developed to have significant differences from the original title released way back in 1997. In fact, what ones are going to be included, and what ones might end up cut, still hasn’t been decided on.
Although developers want to include as much of them as possible, they need to think if creating all of them with latest technology is necessary.
Square Enix won’t focus on the world map being considered an open-world or sandbox.
Regarding the possibility of the game being open-world Kitase wasn’t keen on shoehorning it strictly into that category. Still, he did say that characters’ actions in the game will affect the environment, and I’m really excited to see how this is implemented. Things sound somewhat positive, albeit still early in development.
There’s still no word on a release date, though Nomura did hint that some information about the remake’s launch could be coming next year after Kingdom Hearts 2.8 HD and World of Final Fantasy get released.
First and foremost, the trailer freaks us out by showing that the differences between the Japanese chibi- art style and the doe-eyed Disney art style are actually something that characters in the game recognize, not just a jump between cutscenes and gameplay.
The Final Fantasy 7 Remake is slated to arrive on PS4 at some undetermined point in the future.
