Trump welcomed Putin’s praise, citing it as proof that a Trump administration would be able to work well with the Russians. “I don’t know that he has”.
“If Russia wants to bomb the hell out of ISIS and join us in that effort, I am absolutely fine with it”, he said.
The announcement went on to sarcastically add, “Trump said he picked Putin to be his vice-president for his strong approach to dealing with dissent, flexible approach to democracy, rule of law and the Constitution, and his willingness to regularly violate other countries’ territorial integrity in blatant violation of worldwide law if it suited his aims”.
