New mom Kim Kardashian took to Twitter last night to send word of the donation after seeing a segment on a television show called Dish Nation.

According to People magazine, Kim was anxious that she would get preeclampsia and placenta accrete again and suffered from “intense anxiety” ahead of her son’s birth. But she proved tough when it came to the birth, with mother Kris Jenner speaking to Us Weekly about the special moment.

After Saint West was delivered on Saturday, everyone is wondering how the world’s most talked about couple is dealing with their new child. Despite mild complications with her pregnancy, a source tells the website that Kim is “recovering and doing well”. “I think she’s happy that part of it is over, and he’s here”. It’s not just over the baby’s name – there are numerous problems in the marriage. “It’s fantastic. He’s definitely a saint”.

The couple is known for having quite the shoe collection, with Kim refusing to give up her sky-high stilettos throughout both of her pregnancies.

The new mum was up breastfeeding baby Saint when she saw a program about a girl collecting shoes. “He’s wonderful. We’ve only known him a few days so we’ll see if he’s calm, or you know, anxious, we’ll see what kind of kid he is!”
