Sioux Falls Church Holds Christmas Eve Services All Week
Embrace Church in Sioux Falls is one of the largest churches in the area, and they’ll be having multiple Christmas Eve services beginning Tuesday and going through Thursday at their campuses around Sioux Falls, Tea, Minnesota, and online.
The Joyful Noise Bell Choir, under the direction of Mary Divers, will help ring in the new year at the First Congregational Church of Meredith on Sunday, December 27 during the 10 a.m. service.
Christmas is nearly here and with it the celebration of the birth of Jesus.
Several churches held special Christmas programs as part of their Sunday services this week.
St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 721 N. Thomas, also invites the community to their Christmas Eve Service.
Thursday, Dec. 24: Christmas Eve candlelight worship, 7 p.m.
December 24: Traditional Christmas Eve Service, 7 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 24: “Christmas in Story and Song: A Candlelight Service”, held jointly with First Universalist Church of Southold at Jamesport Meeting House, 5 p.m.
Shell Community Church: Candlelight service, 7:30 p.m. followed by a time of fellowship.
St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 115 S. 5th St., in Iliff, will offer a 7:30 p.m. vigil mass on Christmas Eve.
Friday, Jan. 1: New Year’s Eve worship, 7 p.m.
The Platte Valley Lutheran Church in Saratoga will have a Christmas Day Service, Dec. 25 at 9 a.m.
Thursday, Dec. 24: Christmas Eve services, 5 and 9 p.m.
