Putin, Trump, and ‘Making Tyranny Great Again’
Days after pushing back on allegations in that Russian President Vladmir Putin has killed journalists, Donald Trump assured a rally right here in that despite his hatred of the press, he would “never kill them”.
“To pay a compliment to this KGB murderer [Vladimir Putin] is something that I just can’t find in any way plausible and is incomprehensible”, McCain said.
Translation: Trump plans to not kill journalists in the same way that Putin does not kill journalists, i.e. he’d make sure his tracks were fairly well-covered.
McCain also addressed Trump’s invective over his war record, saying that sort of personal attack comes with the territory of being in the political arena. “I think that would be despicable”. Four years ago, the GOP presidential nominee claimed that Russian Federation and Putin were America’s biggest geopolitical foes.
The announcement went on to sarcastically add, “Trump said he picked Putin to be his vice-president for his strong approach to dealing with dissent, flexible approach to democracy, rule of law and the Constitution, and his willingness to regularly violate other countries’ territorial integrity in blatant violation of worldwide law if it suited his aims”.
“He’s always denied it. It’s never been proven that he’s killed anybody”, Trump said.
“So if Putin respects me and if Putin wants to call me brilliant and other things that he said which were, frankly, very nice, I’ll accept that – and I’ll accept that on behalf of our country” Trump told “This Week” host George Stephanopoulos via phone.
Putin, a former K.G.B. agent who has been in control of Russian Federation one way or another over the past decade, has never been directly connected to the death of a journalist, a fact that Trump pointed out during an appearance on a Sunday talk show.
“I’m saying when you say a man has killed reporters, I’d like you to prove it”, Trump argued. “Putin praises him so he loves Putin. He’s a seriously damaged individual who is deeply insecure and needs attention and praise and the source doesn’t matter”.
Trump believes that Russian Federation and the USA can set aside an old rivalry to face down common enemies and pursue mutually beneficial projects.
But all of that came before Pootie-Poot revealed his dark side.
