Dense fog reducing visibility Wednesday morning
There is a dense fog advisory in place until 10 a.m. Wednesday morning. Temperatures slowly rise as well through the afternoon and evening.
Some areas will already be at or above the average high temperature of 72 degrees during the morning commute and high humidity levels will only make that feel warmer, according to the Weather Service. Showers are expected to pick up after noon and continue into Thursday.
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day will be unsettled but not as wet as Wednesday. Highs will likely be in the 65-70 degree range for a good chunk of CT, smashing our record high of 59 at Bradley Airport! This breaks the old record of 62 back in 1990.
CHRISTMAS EVE: A 60 percent chance of rain showers, mainly before 11 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 69. Expect readings in the upper 50s to lower 60s. A few showers could try to sneak into the forecast, especially for those closest to the state border.
The weekend will feature a 30% chance for rain each day with highs in the low 70s.
