Miss Colombia congratulates Philippines for Miss Universe win

Colombia’s Ariadna Gutierrez took to social media Wednesday morning (Manila time) to thank her supporters and to note that she was “able to bring happiness” to her country after she was hailed Miss Universe even “for only a couple of minutes”.

A doorman in a Bogota apartment building even blamed the Mafias and said that they were everywhere and Colombia, being a “beauty pageant powerhouse”, nobody wants to let them win again.

“I was like, ‘She’s being c–y right now, ‘” he added.

Whether it was a publicity ploy by the Miss Universe organisation, a cue card mistake, or just an honest mistake by Harvey, it seems that Harvey’s career will survive the mistake.

Young said when Miss Colombia was originally announced as the victor, she went back to her station and started cleaning up.

Meanwhile Presidential hopeful and former owner of the competition Donald Trump plumped for a power-sharing option, suggesting they share the crown, meaning Miss Philippines would have had to split her rightful title just because of one man’s screw-up.

“After the storm comes the calm”. He made an apology shortly after Miss Colombia was already been crowned the victor and had taken her victory walk on-stage. “I feel awful”, he tweeted.

The gossip blogger, who served as one of several judges on Sunday’s pageant broadcast, slammed mistakenly crowned runner-up Miss Colombia as a “straight-up diva b–” unworthy of the coveted crown during the latest episode of “The Perez Hilton Podcast”.

Gutierrez extended her congratulations to Filipinos, whose feeling of happiness, she said, “must be incredible”. In fact, the powers that be want him back next year. Hes going to want a shot to redeem himself.

Meanwhile, pageant officials have offered Harvey an invitation to return as host in 2016, which I think is a brilliant idea.

“We are all perfectly imperfect as humans and mistakes happen”.

According to Harvey, who is also repped by WME, the mix-up came about because he didn’t rehearse who would be Miss Universe, as the victor had not yet been decided.
