Jaromir Jagr may be the NHL’s oldest player, but he’s crossing his fingers that Santa will come on Christmas night – and bring him a new set of teeth. With the Panthers on the power play after Senators defenseman Mark Borowiecki was called for interference, Jagr was struck in the mouth during a collision in front of the Ottawa goal by the stick of right winger Alex Chiasson at 10:09 of the first period.

The Panthers finally lit the lamp when Jagr – as he was headed to the bench for a line change – kept the puck in Florida’s offensive zone. Jagr bled profusely from his mouth before leaving the game.
