Harvey and the Miss Universe organisation, however, have called the mistake “human error”, with the comedian and TV host taking the blame.
Despite going through a whirlwind of devastating and embarrassing emotions during Sunday night’s Miss Universe pageant, Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez, is reflecting on the experience with nothing but class.
The sudden development came a day after she posted an Instagram photo showing her wearing the crown with a shady caption.

Young said when Miss Colombia was originally announced as the victor, she went back to her station and started cleaning up.
On a positive note, Gutierrez said that because of the incident Colombia and the Latin community are now “being talked about in every corner of the world”. “The happiness that you must be feeling must be incredible”, she said in her caption.
Gutierrez’s kind words are in contrast with those of her angry supporters.
Despite the major misread that caused host Harvey to feel “terrible” and “humiliated”, Shapiro is sure he’d like to see the Family Feud host back next year. Things quickly took a turn, however, when Steve had another announcement.
In a video posted on social media, Wurtzbach turned emotional when she officially received the Miss Universe crown and sash from the organizers backstage. Recently, she took this graciousness a step further by issuing a statement on Instagram.
Viscusi adds: “I truly believe he could care less about his own reputation, but rather is genuinely anxious that the contestants know he made a real mistake”. While Harvey had already been formally announced as this yr’s host before the contract was finalized, the production did not begin booking his travel until only a few days before the show.
