Osweiler to remain Broncos’ starting QB
Peyton Manning will focus on the rehabilitation of his foot after a torn plantar fascia.
Brock Osweiler will make his sixth straight start for the Denver Broncos this Monday against the Cincinnati Bengals, with head coach Gary Kubiak making the announcement to players on Wednesday morning, and the team announcing it via its website shortly after.
The Broncos owned the Steelers on the road in the first half and promptly coughed up a huge lead as the offense fell apart and Antonio Brown lit up the Denver D.
Osweiler will remain the starter for the Denver Broncos.
Manning returned to practice last week but spent his two days on the field doing individual drills and running the scout team.
Denver has dropped back-to-back games and has not scored in the second half in the last three games.
Osweiler and the Broncos will play the Bengals Monday night. The Steelers won 34-27.
If the Broncos win each of their final two games, they will be assured of no worse than a No. 2 AFC playoff seed, which carries a first-round bye and second-round home game.
The Broncos finish their regular season with a home game January 3 against the San Diego Chargers.
