“Real Housewives” star Teresa Giudice released from prison
During her home confinement, Giudice will “be allowed to attend family events, so long as everything she does is communicated with the [person supervising her release]”.
Giudice, along with her husband, was sentenced to 15 months in federal prison in October 2014 for bankruptcy fraud. News earlier this month.
The reality TV queen was photographed leaving the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut after being released in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Over the course of the case, as Season 6 of Real Housewives of New Jersey aired, the Giudices went from insisting on their innocence to tearful disgrace at their sentencing.
Her release means she can spend Christmas with her husband, Joe, and their four children. “Teresa was smiling when she emerged”.
“She is free”, attorney James J. Leonard, Jr. said.
Bravo cameras were not permitted to film Teresa’s actual departure from the correctional facility in Danbury, but we’ve learned they are already inside her home, gathering up footage for an upcoming special.
In addition to her books and the show, Teresa also has a line of bellini drinks, fittingly named Fabellini, and a line of hair care named after her daughter Milania.
“Teresa is beyond excited to finally see her family”. A Lexus wrapped in a red bow was waiting for her in her driveway.
When reporters inquired about the alleged gift, which retails for $95,000, Leonard said he didn’t know who bought it. “Maybe Santa Claus”, he joked. She’s been a daily presence in their lives. “The first few days home will be kind of getting acclimated to all of that, but my expectations are it will take her a few days then she will be back on her feet”. Teresa is savoring every moment she has with her girls right now.
“This Christmas, the focus isn’t going to be on presents”, a source revealed to E!
Welcome back, Teresa! We bought you some sprinkle cookies to celebrate, but…
Joe Giudice, who is not a USA citizen, also faces possible deportation once he completes his sentence.
