Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry Torch the Pacers
In the National Basketball Association, fans of the Golden State Warriors are starting to wonder if their team really might go undefeated this entire season, as the reigning champions looked to improve to 23-0 when they visited the Indiana Pacers.
Going into the fourth quarter the Pacers were down 28 points until a late run made the final score of 131-123.
“We’ve got to handle the end of the game better”, Curry said.
“He had eight threes at the half”, Curry said.
The Warriors moved to 23-0 and have won 27 straight regular-season games dating to last season. The 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers hold the record with 33 consecutive wins.
Golden State’s superstar point guard Stephen Curry, meanwhile, finished three rebounds shy of a triple-double, ending the night with 29 points, 10 assists and seven boards, while Australian center Andrew Bogut played strong defense and chipped in offensively with 14 points.

Russell Westbrook added 13 points while matching his season high with 16 assists for the Thunder, who led by 35 points after three quarters, allowing Durant and Westbrook to sit out the fourth.
The Warriors: Let’s talk about Klay Thompson first, who’s listed as a game time decision.
“Where we’re at as a team, we don’t want him fighting through it”, Warriors interim head coach Luke Walton said. “‘I felt like I was due for a game like that”. LeBron James posted 33 points and 10 rebounds in Cleveland’s win over Portland, who got 33 from Damian Lillard.
Thompson was 8 of 10 on 3-pointers in the first half.
The Warriors complete their seven-game road trip with games at Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks on Friday and Saturday. “They shot the ball extremely well in the first half”.
Known affectionately as “The Splash Brothers” for their prolific shooting, Golden State guards Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry were more like a tidal wave Tuesday night against the Indiana Pacers. That was as close as the Pacers could get.
The other: Letting Indiana back into the game. Only one quarter into the game school was open for the Pacers. He finished 10 of 16 from beyond the arc, one short of the career high he had in January against Sacramento. Although they still would have another ten games to win, they just might be capable of breaking that record.
