Obama finishes round of golf at exclusive club

President Obama is now on vacation with his family in Hawaii, where he’s been indulging in his favorite pastime – golf.

All that golf seems to be paying off for President Barack Obama, at least on the course.

Mr. Obama was raised in Hawaii and the islands are home to him; this will be the Obamas’ eighth consecutive trip to the islands as a family during his time in the White House.

If a year ago is any indication, it is the first of many golf games ahead during the president’s two-week Hawaii vacation. He is joined by first lady Michelle Obama and daughters Malia and Sasha.

On the way to Hawaii, Obama stopped in Southern California to speak with family members of those killed in the San Bernardino shootings. “He played more golf a year ago than Tiger Woods”.

He’s also been attacked in the past, including by GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump, for spending too much time on playing golf – an attack that’s plagued past presidents too, including Obama’s predecessor George W. Bush. Trump said at a rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Monday night, the Washington Post reported. It costs $206,337 per hour to operate Air Force One to fly the Obamas where they need to go, according to Judicial Watch, or about $3.7 million to fly from Washington, D.C.to Honolulu.
