Woman Accused Of Biting Husband’s Ear Off During Argument

A St. Cloud woman was arrested after biting her husband’s ear off during an argument over beer, according to a criminal complaint. Upon arrival, officers met with Elrod and her husband.

Jamie Elrod, 37 and her husband were reportedly fighting over beer.

After conducting a scan of the area, cops found a chunk of Jamie’s ear on the floor dripping in blood. It’s unknown if doctors were able to re-attach it.

The pair began arguing about beer and, when J.D.E. walked into the bedroom, Elrod followed and allegedly attacked him. Elrod then called police to report the argument.

“The defendant appeared intoxicated as the defendant was lethargic, had glossy eyes, and the strong odor of alcohol was coming from her breath”, the probable cause statement said.

Elrod said she did not know what had happened to her husband’s ear, but in phone calls made by her from jail, she admitted biting the victim’s ear off.

The police suspect she may have been drunk at that time.
