Eden Gardens to host 2016 ICC World T20 Final: BCCI
The Board of Control for Cricket in India on Tuesday announced the much-anticipated venues for the ICC World Twenty20 2016.
“BCCI is extremely proud to host this prestigious event”. Meanwhile, the Sardar Patel Stadium in Motera, Ahmedabad was not granted any World T20 matches due to ongoing renovation work at the venue.
BCCI President Jagmohan Dalmiya would be the chairman of Managing Committee for ICC World Twenty20.

These venues will have the matches subject to satisfying the recommended requirements of ICC and BCCI while holding fast to the statutory commitments that are required for facilitating an global match.
