Bruce: Rain chances down, but temps stay up this Christmas
Weather conditions will stay on the warmer side for Christmas Eve as well as Christmas day. Sunshine and blustery showers will follow, wintry on hills.
Snow has fallen on Christmas Day only a limited number of times over the last 120 or so years, according to records from downtown Seattle and at Sea-Tac. A wind advisory is in place until Thursday with winds at 30 to 40 miles per hour, and local gusts reported up to 50 mph.
Saturday: Showers likely, mainly after 8 a.m. Cloudy with a high near 61.
Forecasters expect severe weather to begin in force on Saturday night as storms roll through the Austin area ahead of a strong cold front.

Clouds tend to increase once again tonight, with lows near 32° (0° Celsius). Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 55. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
A low pressure system moves through the area next week bringing periods rain and possibly storms Monday with highs around 70°.
Temperatures are running about 5 to 6 degrees above normal, so chances are good Tampa will break the mark.
Sunday night: Mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. We will maintain a smaller chance for a passing shower or storm through Sunday with unseasonably warm weather.
