Opinion poll shows gains for Hillary over Sanders
Clinton’s aides could barely believe their good fortune.
Donald Trump continued his pattern of provocative rhetoric on the campaign trail this week.
“We are not responding to Trump”, Clinton’s communications director, Jennifer Palmieri, responded to Trump, nearly gleefully, on Twitter.
Clinton camp’s blunt response was “Hell no”-she won’t apologize”. But when asked a emotional question about bullying by a 10-year-old girl, Clinton seemingly made reference to Trump.
Later he tweeted, “Hillary, when you complain about ‘a penchant for sexism, ‘ who are you referring to. Be careful Hillary as you play the war on women or women being degraded card”.
The Associated Press reported that there is “no evidence” to support Clinton’s claim that the terrorist organization is using videos of Trump to recruit new members. So yes, I do believe that Donald Trump is making overtly fascist appeals. “Most of you are, frankly, a lot smarter than he is. She lost, I mean she lost”, he said, apparently turning the noun “schlong” – a penis – into a verb.
Trump has improved his standing with Republican college graduates in this poll. But he has discovered that women go to the bathroom. “Polite society suggests we don’t talk about these things”. Schlichter responded, “No, but I know of a president who, well, turned his intern into a humidor, so I think we set the standard a little lower than Donald Trump has even approached”.
For Clinton, going after Trump creates an opportunity to reenter a political conversation that has largely moved away from the Democratic side and strike back at her GOP opponents, who are getting plenty of airtime to lob attacks not only at each other but at Clinton.
Meanwhile, Trump, who wants to ban Muslims from entering the United States, now leads the Republican field with 39 percent support in a new poll, 21 points ahead of the next candidate in the race, Senator Ted Cruz, at 18 percent.
Presidential candidate Jeb Bush also weighed in on Trump’s comment and how it would effect Clinton’s campaign. “The more Trump is out there, the more these differences are clear, and what’s at stake for the middle class, both in the economy and in defeating ISIS”.
Hilary Clinton holds sway on important issues debated, according to the surveys. She was going to beat – she was favored to win, and she got schlonged. Trump, so often called on to admit to a falsehood or apologize, demanded a retraction from Clinton.
Hillary Clinton was correct when she said Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL) is using a prominent USA politician in a recruiting video.
