The third Democratic debate, in under two minutes
That means Sanders now holds the record for highest number of contributions for a White House bid, breaking the record held by President Barack Obama in 2011.
And she disagreed with Sanders’ assertion that the USA military should prioritize the fight against Islamic State over working to get Assad to leave power, saying both should be done at the same time. “I have laid out a five-point plan about what we can do together”, Clinton said.
In a spirited critique of Trumpism, Mr Sanders said: “He thinks a low minimum wage in America is a good idea”.
The Bernie Sanders campaign announced Sunday that it “reached a major milestone in grassroots financial support” during the third Democratic presidential debate.
The first time it occurred, he said his staff did the right thing and reported the problem to the DNC. In the second part of the debate, Sanders noted that big corporations have heavily supported Clinton’s campaign, claiming that USA multimillionaires and Wall Street’s financial and business shenanigans are “destroying” the US economy and the middle class.
“I very much appreciate that comment, Bernie”, she said. “But before you do that, you’ve got to think about what happens the day after”. We hate all the Muslims, because of all the Muslims are terrorists.

“There’s no such video”, Trump said on “This Week”. Clinton struck back, reminding Sanders that he “voted for regime change” in Libya. All of this plays to Mrs. Clinton’s strengths – not only as a hawkish former secretary of state but also as a savvy politician who follows the public mood.
Sanders tried to muddy the waters a bit by implying it was possible Clinton’s campaign could have some of his team’s data.
She said that “it was not in America’s interest to react with this kind of fear and respond to this sort of bigotry”.
