Bible verses to remember Christmas is not about you
In his Christmas message, the President said: “Christmas symbolizes the birth of Jesus Christ who assumed a powerful voice, teaching us lessons of kindness and charity that have lasted for more than 2000 years”. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. In music class we sang Christmas songs – even those with the word “Christ” in them. What are we to make of the violence and hate that wracks God’s creation? Did you ever see fairies dancing on the lawn? We ask, do we say “Happy Holidays” or “Merry Christmas”?
Christmas as it is celebrated today is a blend of the sacred and the secular.
There are those who this Christmas face uncertainty and for whom there is an element of sadness because a loved one is absent for the first time. Is it completely pagan or an important day on the Christian calendar?
There are a couple of reasons why it is hard for some people to receive a gift.

Read it in its entirety in Luke 2:1-20, but let me share verse 4-11, which reads, ” So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. “He would learn about what God requires of His people, namely justice”. Yet, Christmas, as respectable as it is, is misunderstood by many people whose interpretations about its reality will forever remain constant; to drink beyond the belly’s fill and to have sexual displays from dust till dawn.
