ET source: Steve Harvey missed end of Miss Universe rehearsals

Ariadna Gutierrez remained Miss Universe for a matter of moments before Steve Harvey realized what he’d done.

Colombia contestant Ariadna Gutierrez Arevalo was already wearing the crown as this year’s Miss Universe victor when host Steve Harvey returned to apologize. “They placed the crown on her, there is a photo and for me as a Colombian she will continue to be Miss Universe”.

But Steve posted a snap of himself apologising in person to Miss Philippines on Instagram.

A source said to be involved in the Miss Universe production told Gossip Cop that the flub Steve Harvey made was “completely accidental”.

To make matters worse, Harvey took to Twitter to apologize, but initially misspelled the home countries of both contestants before also fixing that.
