Golden State Warriors vs. Milwaukee Bucks – 12/18/15 NBA Pick, Odds, and Prediction
Either way, it’s fair to expect some fireworks when the Warriors and Bucks tip-off at 10:30 EST later tonight.
The Milwaukee Bucks and Golden State Warriors square off Friday night at the Oracle Arena. Until then, there’s a very good chance we’re going to see them building up another streak, as the loss against the Bucks served to do one thing: Refocus a team that slightly started to miss some of their notes in this magnificent basketball symphony so far this season, making them perhaps more risky than before.
Green and Mayo exchanged some heated words right after the game, before Mayo put his hand on Green’s head.
The Warriors gave up 70 in a half because the Bucks shot it well, particularly guards Khris Middleton and Carter-Williams. A few more players started shoving, but everything was quickly broken up.
Power forward Draymond Green scored eight consecutive points on a three-point play, a layup and a three-pointer, and Curry made all three free throws after being fouled on a long-range shot in an 11-point flurry that tied the scores with 6:08 to go.
“I told (Green) he’s a heck of a player, but at the end of the day, that’s my teammate”, Mayo told the media of the spat, via ESPN.
“I spoke to him (Green) on it”, Carter-Williams said.
An alley-oop and a technical free throw would push Milwaukee’s lead to 11 early in the fourth quarter, but then the Warriors began to make their run.
The Warriors arrived into Milwaukee at 3 am on the morning of the game, but with the Bucks only getting home following their loss in Toronto at 1 am, neither side had ideal preparations. Green played a pivotal role in the comeback down the stretch, as he scored 21 points with nine rebounds and eight assists. You already know Thompson and Green will have a little added vigor while guarding the Syracuse alumnus. They are just 1-4 in their last five games, with the one win coming against the Warriors.
Seven Bucks scored in double figures, including Monroe, who had a second consecutive double-double against the Warriors with 10 points and 13 rebounds to go with seven assists.
Most Warriors said they didn’t feel any added pressure during the run.
In Philadelphia, Arron Afflalo had 22 points and seven rebounds as the New York Knicks beat the 76ers 107-97 for their third straight win, and the Atlanta Hawks defeated the Boston Celtics 109-101.
Fortunately for Golden State but quite unfortunately for Milwaukee, which has lost two straight games since the big victory on Saturday, the teams face each other again on Friday in Oakland, Calif. And the Suns could only muster 37 points combined, which was nine less than the Warriors had in the third quarter alone. – the Bucks were astoundingly the better team for about 42 of 48 minutes on Friday night, leading by as many as 15 in the second half and 11 in the fourth quarter before eventually running out of gas against the relentless ball movement and limitless shooting of the defending champs.
LaMarcus Aldridge had 26 points and 13 rebounds as the San Antonio Spurs remained undefeated at home with a 115-107 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.
So, it’s okay to celebrate if you win often, but if they’re harder to come by the team should just move on and go about their business? We were kind of laughing at some of the stuff going on.
